Bethel Marketing was established by marketing and media consultant and researcher Deborah Forrest in 1986 when she identified a gap in the market for cost effective marketing that really works. Aimed originally at SMEs, the company has grown steadily throughout the years without advertising and purely by word of mouth as their reputation for value and integrity grew within the Scottish business sector. Marketing Deborah studied marketing in 1986 including the art of market research which she used to help establish Scottish Opinion in Edinburgh in 1998 and which she later left in 2000. With many years experience of the complete marketing mix and knowing what works for her clients, she then acknowledged what others had known about her for years - she is a true entrepreneur at heart! Entrepreneur In November 2001 Deborah Forrest founded Scotland's first professional Concierge and Lifestyle Management company called myOrganiser to help cash-rich and time-poor professionals get their lives in order. Now acknowledged as a leader in the field of Time Management, De-cluttering and Chaos Control and with a staff of 25, the myOrganiser 'empire' has expanded to include the contract cleaning company City Cleaning Contractors and the International Association of Concierges and Lifestyle Managers which sets the industry standards for Professional Organisers (New website coming soon). Deborah is currently writing the ultimate guide-books for the industry and is in the midst of franchising the company world-wide. She also conducts seminars both for those who need to be organised - and those who wish to organise! Media Deborah cut her teeth in film work from an early age as a child actor(!) and then went on to study film and radio production and direction techniques. Although she is a camera woman and her first love is editing, she also hosted a regular magazine programme on radio - even driving her own desk (don't ask!) - and has made dozens of documentaries, commercials and promos for diverse companies over the years. The End of the World is Nigh...As a researcher, Deborah was commissioned to produce a series of video, TV and radio programmes investigating the increase in religious cults, the occult, new age movement and the events leading up to what is known as the 'End Times' and Deborah now speaks internationally on these subjects. Her most renowned production with her husband Stewart Menelaws is the documentary Cup of Trembling-countdown to Armageddon which has been seen on cable TV across the world several times and has sold thousands of copies world-wide. It has recently been digitally re-mastered from video to DVD enhancing its quality, however with new findings and research and the interest in Dan Brown's Da Vinci Code, they have now been asked to work on a follow-up project for national television. Deborah is also writing the book of the film - which is taking almost as long as it took for the original project! Finally, Deborah is also a director of The Studio run by her husband Stewart Menelaws who brings his considerable skills in photography, lighting and multi media to Bethel Marketing. Most importantly to them, they are the parents of Simon who is doing a second degree to study medicine which means they will be in business a few years more as they continue to support him and his wife Eva! Deborah and Stewart make time to relax on their boat at weekends - honest! If
